Glucosamine is an amino sugar that has been shown in clinical studies to inhibit symptoms of advance joint problems in horses, people and canine alike. Glucosamine plays a key role in reducing inflammation and the enzymes that lead to inflammation hat ultimately destroy cartilage. We not only have Glucosamine HCL, but also MSM, Condroitin Sulfate, Yucca and Boswellia Serrata, (precursor to aspirin) at optimum concentrations to target inflammation and pain. Vitamin C is added for its immune and joint benefits and is more bioavailable to the horse because of the presence of Bioflavonoids. Zinc, Copper and Manganese are in an Amino Chelate form so that your equine may easily absorb them. Healthy joints are not the only thing that keeps your horse in competition. You must also ensure sound hoof health if one intends to stay in competition for any length of time. It is for this reason that we have added 15 mg/day of Biotin and 6,400 mg of DL Methionine to strengthen the hoof wall and encourage hoof growth.
